Mouanko is a town and commune in the Littoral Region of Cameroon, lying on the north bank of the Sanaga River. It is the main town of the Douala Edéa Wildlife Reserve. (Wikipedia)
The name used in the village is "Mouanko"; often misspelled.

Often referred to Fp. fallax "Mouanko" (or "Mouanka") which is an interesting opinion.

Caught "In small mostly isolated pools adjacent to this stream" "near the mouth of the Sananga River" by Brian Russell Tate in December 2018.
